Published: 08 April 2017

It's a busy weekend at Laurel Park for horses in the Fantasy Ownership Challenge, with eight scheduled to race.

On Saturday, April 8, three horses are set to compete, all in the seventh race at 1 1/16 miles on the turf. It's the first day of turf racing this year.

Ram Racing Stable's Pardontori'sfrench ($1,650 in contest earnings), Walter Vieser II's Fed Up I'm Fired (no earnings yet) and Old Coach Farm's Eyerish Inspired (no earnings yet) are set to go in the seventh race; the first two show a decent effort or two on turf. Crookit also was entered to run only if the race moved to the main track and is expected to be scratched.

On Sunday, April 9, four horses are entered in three races on the program at Laurel.

Timothy Hopkins's Whiskey Sour, who was victorious March 18 to earn $13,982 and sits sixth in the standings; and MCA Racing Stable's Hey Willie ($1,125), who was fourth behind Whiskey Sour last time out, are entered in the second race. Hey Willie was claimed by leading trainer Claudio Gonzalez March 18 and moves up a notch in the $7,500 claiming event.

Burns Thoroughbred Racing's Banana Anna ($4,725 in contest earnings) is entered in the sixth race off the claim by trainer Willie Kee, and Brian McFarlane's Tiz Majesty ($1,000) is entered in the ninth race on the grass. The latter last time out finished behind standings leader Claravoyant in a maiden special weight event and drops in for a $25,000 claiming tag.

On Monday, April 10, the John Salzman Jr.-owned and -trained My Cotton Jones ($5,775 and 11th in the standings) is entered in the first race at Parx. The purse is $30,000 for the $10,000 claiming race.

We wish you all the best.
